Frequently Asked Questions

-

Berlin - Cafe Neue LiebeA cute vegan cafe where I used to work during my Pottery apprenticeship. There is a whole shelf dedicated to ceramics that you can see, touch and buy directly in the cafe. Cash and paypal payments available. Have a look here or there: Cafe Neue Liebe

Online ShopWe have just opened an online shop for those who can’t make it to the markets.
-
Do you have a shop we can visit? Not at this stage. The market stand acts as our ‘portable shop’ we travel around with.
-
Can I visit the studio?Only by appointment. The studio is very small and you can only see pots in progress. Once the pots are fired and ready for sale, they are packed into crates for the market, or packaged for international shipping.
-
Do you offer international shipping?YES! We have just opened an online shop for those who can't make it to the markets in Germany.
-
How are the ceramics packed for shipping? With care! There is a lot of love put into making these pots and we want them to arrive safely on your doorstep! All efforts are made to use eco-friendly packaging. All items are well wrapped and secured in multiple layers of paper, cardstock and anything we can find to make the long journey comfortable for the pot. The only plastics used are repurposed packaging, so please re-use if possible.
-
How often is the online shop restocked? There is no set schedule, I'll announce any shop updates via my instagram page.
-
Are ceramics food safe?Yes. All of my pots are food safe, using glazes that are non toxic and have been tested and approved by food safe regulations in Germany. Any unglazed areas are water tight and can be easily cleaned.
-
How do I wash ceramics? All my pots are dishwasher safe. However, the best practice is to wash by hand with warm soapy water.
-
Are they oven safe?Yes. Ceramics can absolutely handle intense heat, although they need to heat up/cool down slowly to prevent thermal shock (similar to glass) that means: Do not put a cold ceramic dish in a preheated oven. Instead: Put a cold ceramic dish - with delicious food inside - in a cold oven and heat it up together. Do not put a hot ceramic dish on a cold surface (like marble). Instead: use a coaster or pot mat between the surfaces.
-
Can I place an order? Please get in touch about your ceramic wishes. If you are wanting a set of items from my collection there might be a waiting period before the order is completed, depending on the time of year.
-
Do you make Custom designs?Depends. Custom designs are not often accepted, but if it's something that could be made in my style, or a project that sounds interesting, then I would be happy to consider it. Please get in touch and ask.
