Crafted from a beautiful beige stoneware clay blended with fine grog for enhanced stability during creation and durability post-firing. Hand-thrown on the potter's wheel and formed with fingertips to create thin, delicate ceramic walls. The base is rolled to form an edge that defines the foot. Trimmed on the kick wheel, the surface is both textured and smoothed to its final form. The ornate handle is hand-pulled for a comfortable grip and practical to hang on a hook for convenient access and display. After bisque firing at 950°C, the piece is uniquely glazed using various brush techniques. It is then fired at a high temperature of 1250°C, revealing beautiful brown speckles from the pyrite in the clay.
